José Manuel Gómez Vázquez Aldana, a Guadalajara architect born in 1937, is the designer of one of the most recognizable works in the Guadalajara cityscape: the Nuevo Progreso Bullring, recently included in the Jalisco State Inventory of Cultural Heritage as a property of significant artistic value.
