Winners of the 2025 Caonabo de Oro Awards are chosen
The jury of the Caonabo de Oro awards chose this Monday the writer Emilia Pereyra and the journalist Carlos Manuel Estrella as the winners of the 2025 Caonabo de Oro awards .
The jury was composed of Ramon Colombo, Mateo Morrison, Luis Jose Chavez, Jose Gomez Cerda, Isael Perez, Monsignor Ramon Benito de la Rosa y Carpio and Manuel Quiroz .
The Caonabo de Oro Awards ceremony will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at four in the afternoon, at the National Library , located in the Plaza de la Cultura.
The Caonabo de Oro Awards were initiated in 1978. By Salvador Pitaluga Nivar, Emilio -Cuqui- Córdova, Mariano Lebrón Saviñón, Adriano de la Cruz, and other distinguished Dominican journalists and writers .
These awards are sponsored by Banco Popular Dominicano.
