A batch of corn chips has been withdrawn from sale. Urgent announcement from the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate.

Gluten has been detected in a batch of corn chips labeled gluten-free, the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate warns. Consuming them by people with a gluten allergy or intolerance may cause an allergic reaction.
As a result of an official inspection carried out by the State Sanitary Inspection, a non-compliance was found regarding the gluten content in a batch of corn puffs labelled as gluten-free.
"Consumption of the product by people with an allergy or intolerance to gluten may cause an allergic reaction," warned GIS.
Tygryski Corn Chips Recalled. Batch Containing GlutenThis concerns the product Tygryski Corn Puffs with toffee flavor 70 g, batch number: A0430 with a use-by date of 01.2026. The manufacturer of the puffs is TBM Sp. z o. o., Kolejowa 7A, 27-415 Kunów.
GISGIS reported that TBM Sp. z o. o. immediately took action to withdraw the product from the market after receiving information about the identified non-compliance and informed customers of the situation.
"Official food control authorities are supervising the process of withdrawing the disputed batch from circulation and are conducting explanatory proceedings in the matter," GIS added.
