These and other questions will be answered by experts during the 17th European Economic Congress in Katowice (EEC), which will be held on 23–25 April.
The mission of the congress – the largest business event in Central Europe – has been unchanged from the beginning: the event creates a space for a broad and open debate on the future of the European and Polish economy, but also the most important phenomena, trends and technologies. Therefore, one of the key thematic paths of this year's congress will be called "Digitalization, technologies, innovations".
Much attention will be paid to issues related to artificial intelligence (AI). Experts will discuss, among other things, how the use of AI changes the rules of the game in business and whether this technology can be one of the pillars of building a competitive advantage for Polish companies.
EKG speakers will also consider the positions of the Polish economy and science in the digital technology race. There will be no shortage of topics related to digital security - discussions will concern, among others, ways to protect critical infrastructure, risks resulting from dependence on advanced imported technologies, as well as the fight against disinformation and hybrid warfare.
The organizer of the European Economic Congress is the PTWP Group. "Rzeczpospolita" is the media partner of the event.
Registration of EEC 2025 participants is available on the congress website: eecpoland.eu
