- Krakow allotment gardeners will be able to submit applications until July 18.
On July 3, Krakow opened the application process for grants under the Family Allotment Garden Support Program. The city authorities explain that the money can be used for projects involving the construction, modernization, or development of garden infrastructure in the general area of the allotment garden.
Krakow gardens will be able to submit applications until July 18, so there is little time.
Financing of renovations, modernizations and construction of common areasThroughout the year, local governments across the country conduct campaigns for funding from the civic budget. Most cities, such as Warsaw, Gdańsk, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Świdnik, and Augustów, conducted recruitment in the spring, but managers should inquire at their offices, because some of them accept applications until the pool of money is exhausted.
In the case of Krakow, for the ROD association, funding may amount to up to 70% of documented costs incurred, but not more than PLN 50,000. The association must cover the remaining costs on its own.
Grants can be obtained for the construction or modernisation of garden paths, fencing, a community centre or allotment gardener's house, a children's play area, a playing field, an outdoor gym, a garden gazebo, the installation of lamps and the installation of a monitoring system .
Grant for ROD. What can't you get money for? Most local governments present similar goals for which the subsidy can be used. The Warsaw City Office, however, explained that the subsidy cannot be used for:
- related to events of a cultural, religious, educational, sports and entertainment nature, as well as ensuring the organization, security and setting of such events,
- regarding the preparation of design and cost documentation, formal and legal arrangements, investor and construction supervision, geodetic services, purchase of maps, extracts from the land register, extracts from land and mortgage registers, archaeological works, extension of guarantees, costs of bank and financial services, etc., as well as the creation of an information board at the end of the implementation of a given investment.
34 Family Allotment Gardens from the Łódź District of the PZD signed a contract with the Marshal's Office a few days ago for subsidies in the total amount of PLN 990,730.00. 68 applications were submitted for PLN 2 million, exceeding the competition budget twice. The allotment gardeners there hope that such a large participation of Łódź RODs will result in an increase in the competition budget next year.
Thanks to the support of the Marshal's Office, the Łódź Family Allotment Gardens PZD will, among other things, modernize the garden alleys, carry out repairs to wells and irrigation networks, and plant trees, shrubs and melliferous plants on common areas.
- say the allotment gardeners from Łódź.
