A priest from the parish in Przypki confessed to murdering his acquaintance. According to information provided by the District Prosecutor's Office in Radom, the motive for the crime was a dispute over a real estate donation agreement. The tragedy occurred during a shared car ride.

According to investigators, an argument broke out between the priest and the 68-year-old man. In exchange for a donation, the priest promised to provide him with lifelong care and help him find a place to live.

According to the prosecutor's office, the dispute concerned the choice of a place for the homeless man to live. The priest promised to provide him with adequate accommodations, but disagreements arose regarding the location.

Prosecutor Aneta Góźdź also reported that the priest testified that during the argument, he took out an axe and hit his friend in the head with it. Then, while the man was still alive, he set him on fire and drove away from the scene.

Adrian Galbas, Metropolitan Archbishop of Warsaw, spoke out about the crime. He admitted that he was "devastated and devastated" by the news that a clergyman had committed such a serious crime. He emphasized that he was unable to find answers to questions about the motives behind this tragedy. The archbishop also asked all priests of the Archdiocese of Warsaw to engage in personal penance and prayer of expiation, and announced a communal prayer after each Mass this coming Sunday.

He also asked for prayers for the deceased Mr. Anatol and his family. "I ask all priests of the Archdiocese of Warsaw to begin their personal penance and prayer of expiation today. This coming Sunday, let us do this together – after every Holy Mass throughout the Archdiocese. The blood of our murdered brother cries out to God. Let us beg God for forgiveness – and let us beg people for forgiveness. I myself beg for this," the statement reads.

At the same time, the Archdiocese of Warsaw declared its full cooperation with law enforcement agencies to clarify all the circumstances of this crime. It also announced the implementation of the necessary canonical procedures to review the case in accordance with Church law.
