Will there be a new party? Ryszard Petru: They're actually encouraging me to do so.

"At meetings with entrepreneurs, they encourage me to create a new grouping that would prioritize entrepreneurship. However, I still believe that Polska 2050 could be such a grouping. However, if the government coalition doesn't prioritize entrepreneurship, a space will emerge that will soon be filled by a new political entity," said Ryszard Petru (Poland 2050) in "Graffiti."

In a conversation with Ryszard Petru, host Marcin Fijołek referred to the situation in Poland 2050. He noted that the party that declared its interest in the fate of small and medium-sized businesses may soon have new competition – besides the Confederation .

" Arkadiusz Muś , one of the richest Poles, a billionaire from near Częstochowa , (...) is preparing a party based on the very sources you're talking about. Wadim Tyszkiewicz, in turn, wants to give this group, or project, a local government leg. Maybe we should start something new?" the journalist asked.

" I've been hearing about these ideas for a while now, especially at meetings with entrepreneurs, who are actually urging me to create a new group that would focus on entrepreneurship. I still believe that Poland 2050 can be such a group as long as it returns to its roots. That possibility is always there," Petru replied.

According to the politician, questions about the new formation stem from a "certain dissatisfaction" among voters regarding the government coalition . "Nevertheless, I still believe that it can be managed within the current party structure," the MP emphasized.

"If you're asking me if Poland 2050 is at a turning point , the situation is indeed tense. But there's always the possibility of some kind of rebranding, a refresh, and presenting a new agenda. This is only halfway there," Petru noted.

- If no political group in the current coalition focuses on issues related to entrepreneurship - health insurance contributions, tax-free allowance, ZUS, etc. - and does not focus on decentralization, i.e. more power for local governments, then there will naturally be a huge space for a new political entity on the democratic side - pointed out the parliamentarian.

He added that "this political entity will then be occupied." " Today, there are many indications that this space exists , but it may still be occupied by the (ruling) coalition party," he said.

- That's why I would prefer the discussion about the reconstruction (of the government) to be mainly about the substance - what we want to do within two years - and not about names - he concluded, referring to some announcements suggesting a reduction in the size of the government.
