PLN 1,880 will be transferred to our accounts in September. This time, the transfers will not be from the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).

In September, farmers will receive additional money

As KRUS reminded, the so-called fourteenth month benefit is available to people who at the end of August this year obtained:

• the right to a farmer's pension,
• agricultural pension for incapacity for work,
• survivor's pension,
• periodic agricultural pension
• or supplementary parental benefit.

- The vast majority of those entitled will receive the "14th pension" in an amount equal to the lowest pension, i.e. PLN 1,878.91 gross," said Katarzyna Kluczyńska from KRUS, quoted in the press release.

She added that in such a case, after deducting tax and health insurance contributions, retirees and pensioners will receive PLN 1,709.81 net.

Kluczyńska noted that this amount of the fourteenth pension will be paid to eligible persons whose total pension and disability benefits do not exceed PLN 2,900 gross; above this amount, the payment will be reduced according to the "zloty for zloty" principle.

- An amount equal to the difference between the amount of pension and disability benefits due and the sum of PLN 2,900 will be deducted from PLN 1,878.91 - she indicated.

For example, KRUS has calculated that if a former farmer receives a pension or disability benefit of PLN 3,300 gross (PLN 400 above PLN 2,900), their fourteenth pension will be reduced by PLN 400. In this case, the benefit will amount to PLN 1,478.91 gross.

Payments of the fourteenth pensions will be made together with monthly pensions and disability benefits, and in the case of KRUS these will be the dates: 7, 8, 10, 15, 20 and 25 September .

Those receiving quarterly pensions, whose next payment is due in October, will receive their fourteenth payment in September. She added that last year, 97% of those eligible received the full pension, i.e., the minimum pension.
