Don't close the doors of democracy

Instead of legislating thoughtfully and seeking consensus on issues relevant to the lives of the Portuguese people, the AD allowed itself to be enchanted by perceptions that distort reality on social media, amplify truncated narratives, and select the weakest as scapegoats. More than just Chega's themes, it surrendered to a way of disregarding reality, evidence, and the importance of debate and participation in legislative processes.
