The protagonists are Isabelle and Richard, a successful couple who live in an impressive – and isolated – house that is invaded. The motives of the intruder, who violently handcuffs them, seem unfathomable. But, little by little, they are revealed. Home Jacking: Hostages at Home is a creation by Florent Meyer and Tigran Rosine (who contributed to the script for Lupin ) and unfolds in six episodes, weekly, starting this Tuesday (also on TVCine+).

José Nascimento and Ana Pissarra direct this “dreamlike documentary” about a journey that begins in the Algarve, with Mauritania as its destination, to discover the traces of the Portuguese presence in this country of nomads. It is undertaken by a young woman in search of distant ancestors, in a place where talking about these connections is increasingly delicate. “Confronted by a culture very different from her own”, the synopsis reveals, “she discovers that the desert is a vast ocean and that everything is dreamed of in the sand”.
Six Deaths in a Night: In Cold Blood - Truman Capote RTP2, 11pm
The story of the brutal Holcomb murders (Kansas, USA), as investigated and recorded by Truman Capote in In Cold Blood (1966), is revisited in this documentary by Julien Gaurichon and Frédéric Bas, with the approval of the Arte channel.
The book, a true crime classic that also influenced the way journalism was done, became a bestseller and a critical favorite as soon as it was published. The author emerged scarred, exhausted and tormented from a long and intense process that took him about six years and that included direct interviews with Perry Smith and Richard Hickock, the two men who murdered four members of the Clutter family (the parents and two children) and who ended up being executed, after being sentenced to death.
