After 20 years, we will revive MTV Bandas Gaúchas in Porto Alegre

Rio Grande do Sul rock will shine once again on the Araújo Vianna Auditorium stage on September 20th with a special show celebrating the 20th anniversary of Acústico MTV Bandas Gaúchas. The show brings together artists who participated in the iconic recording of the project launched in 2005, responsible for immortalizing an important phase of Rio Grande do Sul music and projecting its representatives throughout the country.

Among the confirmed names are Cachorro Grande, Ultramen, Wander Wildner and the duo Carlinhos Carneiro and Rodrigo Pilla, from Bidê ou Balde, accompanied by the group Os Excelentes Animais. The repertoire will include all the tracks presented on the original album, with the exception of "E Por Que Não", in addition to five other songs freely chosen by each attraction. The idea is to recreate the intimate atmosphere of the original acoustic, with scenic elements such as barrels and bleachers on the stage, referring to the typical aesthetic of MTV projects.

Originally recorded in São Paulo and broadcast by the station in 2005, Acústico Bandas Gaúchas marked an era by bringing together different strands of rock produced in the state, highlighting the musical diversity of its groups. The performance at Araújo Vianna promises to be a unique experience for fans, with moving reinterpretations of songs that marked a generation. Tickets are available from R$90 (solidarity entrance) and the age rating is 16 years.
