Lagos: Experimental and psychedelic rock marks the fourth edition of the Chain Concerts at LAC

Lagos: Experimental and psychedelic rock marks the fourth edition of the Chain Concerts at LAC

LAC – Creative Activities Laboratory , in Lagos, is preparing to host the fourth edition of the Chain Concerts, on Saturday, June 28, with Bastardos Mutantes and The Orange Buzz Band.

Bastardos Mutantes is a band based in Vila Meã, a parish in the municipality of Amarante. It started as a place where songs that didn't fit into the lineup of its members' other musical projects would end up.

In 2016, there was enough material for an album and to give a few concerts. That album is «FITA GASTA» and consists of 10 experimental metal tracks.

The Orange Buzz Band is a Portuguese rock group from Setúbal. The collective takes the spirit and attitude of rock from the 1960s and 1970s and gives it a modern sound.

The band is composed of Chico on vocals and rhythm guitar, Gonçalo on bass, Alca on drums, and Manga on lead guitar.

«The passion that each member has for music and rock n' roll shines through in their songs», according to the organization of Concertos em Cadeia.

Doors will open at 9:00 pm and the concerts will start at 9:30 pm. The entrance fee is 10 euros for the general public and 7.50 euros for LAC Members/Friends, with the right to a drink (beer, juice or water).

For students who want to attend the Concerts in Chain, the cost is five euros (including juice or water). For children up to 12 years old, entry is free.
