You can erase that phrase that says "believe in your dreams" , because in 2003, Luana Piovani had already given one of the most direct, hilarious and, why not, philosophical pieces of advice in Brazilian cinema. In the film "The Man Who Copied", directed by Jorge Furtado and starring Lázaro Ramos , the actress plays Marinês, a woman who knows exactly what she wants and what she doesn't want.
During a conversation with Lázaro's character , the foul-mouthed muse unceremoniously lets out a reflection on her own love life: "A poor father is destiny. Now, a poor husband is stupidity." And she doesn't stop there, you see!? With sarcasm on the tip of her tongue and a sharp sense of humor, she adds: "Poverty is this: either destiny or stupidity."
