Luis Enrique and the emotional speech when remembering his daughter who died at age 9

Luis Enrique could be one step closer to winning the Champions League with PSG, having secured the French team's qualification from the competition. On this path of victories, the coach remembered his late daughter Xana, who is still present in his life, even if not physically.

"I have incredible memories because my daughter loved parties and I'm sure that, wherever she is, she continues to celebrate" , he began by telling the press in the preview of PSG's game against Montpellier, which will take place this Saturday, May 10.

"I remember an incredible photograph I have with her at the Champions League final in Berlin, after winning the Champions League, having placed a Barça flag in the middle of the pitch [see or remember the aforementioned images in the gallery]. I wish I could do the same with PSG" , he shared.

"My daughter will not be there physically, but she will be there spiritually. And that, for me, is very important," he added. "And I have the motivation to continue with what life gives me through what I share with my family. We all like beautiful and happy things, but life forms something very important, which is knowing how to overcome misfortunes," he added.

Luis Enrique, it should be remembered, saw his daughter Xana pass away in 2019. At the time, the girl was just nine years old and was battling bone cancer.
