Pain and tears! Grandfather's cry of suffering in his last farewell

Diogo Jota and his brother, André Silva , died in the early hours of Thursday, July 3, victims of a car accident in Spain. The national team player was driving a Lamborghini when, during an overtaking maneuver, a tire burst.

On the same day, the Portuguese international's parents and wife traveled to the neighboring country to identify the bodies and, at night, the remains were brought to Portugal.

This Friday, July 4th, the wake was held at the Capela da Ressurreição , in Gondomar . The doors opened to the public at 10 am, however, family and close friends were already there before that time.

The mother had to be supported due to the deep pain , but the maternal grandfather also showed great suffering. The man hugged each person present, crying uncontrollably.

“This morning, my grandfather said 'they stole my children, they stole my grandchildren'”, said CMTV journalist Tânia Laranjo .
