Local resident collected data on Russian military personnel for Ukrainian special services
FSB officers detained a Russian woman in St. Petersburg who, on instructions from her Ukrainian handlers, was finding out where Russian military personnel and their families lived and what kind of cars they drove.
Kiev was going to use this information to prepare terrorist attacks against the military, the intelligence service reports .
During the search, a phone with WhatsApp correspondence was found on the suspect. In this way, she received instructions from Ukrainian coordinators and reported on the completion of tasks.
The Investigative Service of the FSB Directorate for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region has opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 205.1 (aiding and abetting a terrorist act) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The detainee was arrested.
