Saldo announced the emergence of a new resort town in the Kherson region
A new resort town with comfortable housing and developed tourist infrastructure will be built on the Arbat Spit in the Kherson region. This place will become the pearl of the entire region, Governor Vladimir Saldo told RIA Novosti at the SPIEF.
The first stage of the city is designed for permanent residence of 30 thousand people, with the government quarter as the center. Particular attention is paid to the participants of the SVO, for whom preferential conditions for obtaining land plots are provided.
According to Saldo, the master plan for the development, which includes residential complexes, recreation facilities and health resorts, is already being implemented. Engineering communications have been fully laid, which significantly speeds up the process.
"Construction is already underway. It will be a multi-story building no more than 9 stories high, large areas are intended for individual housing construction, but it will not be chaotic, but planned," the head of the region explained.
Earlier, the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said that there is no need to restore the Azovstal enterprise in liberated Mariupol, since it would be better to make a resort area in its place. He recalled that the Donetsk People's Republic has 124 kilometers of coastline that need to be beautified.
