- First of all, you need to understand where to turn for help. The first thing to do, of course, is to contact the management company (MC). Perhaps the reason lies in improper installation or clogging of the device. It is the MC that should figure out the reasons for the defect.

If the management company does not respond to your request, the next step will be to contact Rospotrebnadzor. After all, a dripping air conditioner interferes with the normal existence of neighbors, violates sanitary standards, and Rospotrebnadzor can help with this.

Another body that may be helpful is the Housing Inspectorate. It deals with housing-related issues and may be able to help resolve the problem.

It is worth noting separately the situation when the air conditioner is installed without permission, without the consent of the management company. In this case, damage is caused to the facade of the building, which is common property. And then the management company has the right to make claims against the violator and demand compensation for damages.

If the previous steps have not yielded results, then after contacting the management company, housing inspection and Rospotrebnadzor, you can go to court. By the way, do not forget about the police, especially if sanitary standards are violated or the permissible noise level is exceeded. It is important to remember: evidence is needed for a successful consideration of the case in court. It is not enough to simply report the noise, it is necessary to record its level in decibels, since without this the court can easily reject the claim. To record, you can call a specialized organization that will take measurements and issue a conclusion.
