Enforcement proceedings against comedian and musician Semyon Slepakov* (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) have been closed after he paid off his debt in a case of violating the rules of foreign agent activity. This follows from court documents reviewed by TASS.
The document notes that Slepakov* paid the existing debt. In connection with this, the enforcement proceedings were closed.
Earlier it was reported that bailiffs opened enforcement proceedings to collect debt from Slepakov* in a case of violating the rules of foreign agent activities. The Tagansky Court found him guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and he was fined 30 thousand rubles. It was not paid within the established period. In connection with this, enforcement proceedings were opened.
The Ministry of Justice added Slepakov* to the register of foreign agents on April 14, 2023. The ministry's website specifies that the comedian received support from foreign sources, spoke out against a special military operation, formed a negative attitude towards military service and public service in general, and made negative statements about Russians.
