Russian Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov told RIA Novosti that the department does not intend to introduce a single school uniform standard for all Russian educational institutions. Speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the head of the Ministry of Education noted that each educational institution has the right to independently establish requirements for students' clothing.

Kravtsov stressed that, despite the lack of plans for unification, school uniforms themselves are an acceptable option. He drew an analogy with the architectural diversity of school buildings, pointing out that the approach to uniforms can also vary.

"School buildings can be different. Look, we have different buildings in terms of design and decoration. The same goes for school uniforms. Therefore, I don't think there can be any kind of unification here. Although, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with school uniforms," the head of the department said.

Earlier, Chernyshenko announced which competitions Russians were allowed to participate in.
