"If there was a Turkish referee on the field, this would not have happened"
Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe faced each other at RAMS Park in the 25th week of the Trendyol Super League. The match ended in a goalless draw and was refereed by Slavko Vincic from the Slovenian Football Federation.
After the match, Ali Palabıyık evaluated Vincic's performance on the Çevre Kontrol program on HT Spor.
"IF THERE WAS A TURKISH REFEREE ON THE FIELD, THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED""If there was a Turkish referee on the field, this wouldn't have happened. Because when there is a Turkish referee, the atmosphere of trust disappears. I didn't see more than one player around Slavko Vincic. Even when he put his hand to his ear for VAR, no one came to him or objected."
Is the decision to cancel Oğuz Aydın's goal correct?
"It was a very correct decision, Szymanski's foot slipped and he intervened against Muslera in an unbalanced manner. Muslera made the save with his hands and Szymanski fell to the ground because of this position. The goal scored by Oğuz Aydın was correctly cancelled.
Is Skriniar's tackle on Osimhen a penalty?
"This position is a position that requires a grey position referee's comment because Skriniar has no intention of playing the ball here, he is completely looking at the player, he goes to the player, he actually uses his body, but is the force of this enough for a penalty or not? I think the decision to continue here is the right one, the referee made a very correct decision here."
Is the ball hitting Oğuz Aydın a penalty?
"Barış is right, there is a hand there, but Oğuz Aydın knowingly and intentionally kicked the ball with his own foot and it came to his open hand. We cannot talk about a violation when the ball that the player played himself came to his hand. If the referee had given a penalty, the VAR would have warned the referee about this position clearly."
Minute 65: Is Fenerbahçe's expectation of a penalty correct?
"Lemina's hand is already on Davinson's back and he doesn't know whether the ball will bounce or not. His intention here was not to play the ball with his hand, but to completely clear the ball away. We can't talk about a violation here."
