'Cell-14' operation against drugs in 3 provinces! Minister Yerlikaya: 11 suspects arrested

According to the information shared by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya , as a result of the work carried out by the Sinop Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotics and Intelligence Branch Directorates; " Cell-14 " operations were carried out against the organized crime organization, which is headquartered in Sinop and engaged in drug production and trafficking in Istanbul and Samsun, and whose ringleader is MCÖ, who is in prison.

As a result of the operations, 11 suspects were caught and arrested, and it was determined that the suspects transported the narcotics they procured from other members of the organization in Sinop, Istanbul and Samsun in accordance with the orders and instructions of the ringleader to Sinop, stored these narcotics in the Gerze district and delivered them to individuals referred to as dealers through members of the organization, and the income from drug sales was transferred to individuals and accounts affiliated with the organization through rented bank accounts.

Additionally, as a result of the operations, various amounts of narcotics, 4 precision scales , 6 narcotics use devices, large amounts of foreign currency, Turkish lira and gold were seized.
