156 suspects were caught in operations against FETÖ in 30 provinces

Minister Yerlikaya, in a post he shared on his social media account, stated that operations against FETO were carried out in 30 provinces, including Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, in the last two weeks.

🔹 AA Live for instant developmentsSharing the information that 65 of the 156 people caught in the operations were arrested, judicial control decisions were issued for 34 of them and the procedures for the others were ongoing, Yerlikaya noted the following:
"The suspects caught in the operations were wanted for carrying out activities within the 'current structuring' of the FETÖ terrorist organization, contacting responsible individuals within the organization via payphones, providing financing to the terrorist organization and making propaganda for the organization via social media platforms. As a result of the work carried out by the provincial gendarmerie commands under the coordination of the chief public prosecutor's offices and the Gendarmerie General Command TEM Department, operations were carried out in Adana, Adıyaman, Amasya, Ankara, Artvin, Aydın, Balıkesir, Batman, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Edirne, Elazığ, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Giresun, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir, Kırıkkale, Kocaeli, Kütahya, Manisa, Mersin, Muğla, Sakarya, Siirt, Şanlıurfa, Trabzon and Yozgat. A large number of organizational documents and digital materials were seized as a result of the operations."

Yerlikaya congratulated the governors of the provinces where the operations were carried out, the chief public prosecutor's offices, the provincial gendarmerie commanders and the gendarmerie, and said, "We continue our struggle against those who threaten the unity and solidarity of our nation, the integrity of our state, and the peace and welfare of our citizens."
