242 More Venezuelan Migrants Deported from the US Return Home

A plane belonging to the Venezuelan airline Conviasa departed from Mexico and brought 242 migrants to Simon Bolivar International Airport in the capital Caracas.
Welcoming the deported Venezuelans at the airport, Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello stated that thanks to the Repatriation Plan, Venezuelans were able to return to their country.
Cabello said that 500 more Venezuelans will be brought to the country from Mexico and that the citizens will continue their lives "happily" here.
Cabello said that some immigrants had traumatic experiences in the United States and that they would provide psychological support to the children among those deported.
In images shared on social media, migrants returning to their country were seen holding Venezuelan flags.
The 177 irregular Venezuelan migrants who were last deported by the US by air on February 22 reached their country.
