25-ton truck pulled by 750-kilo 'patpat'
A truck carrying steel doors from Kayseri to Trabzon started to slide out of control due to heavy snowfall and ice in the Eymür Neighborhood of the Ulubey district of Ordu.
Noticing the situation, neighborhood residents Salih Pala, Şenel Çelenk, Serdar Pala and Resul Ekrem Soylu also took action to help. Citizens decided to pull the TIR waiting on the side of the road with the 750-kilogram vehicle known as 'patpat' used in agriculture. In order to increase the power, 4 people got on the patpat and placed 6 water cans of 30 kilos each.

After the preparations, Patpat pulled the truck to a safe point. The truck, which was pulled over by the intervention of the neighborhood residents, then continued on its way. Those moments were recorded with a mobile phone camera.

The owner of the patpat, Salih Pala, who towed the truck, said, "I saw that the truck going from Kayseri to Trabzon was stuck in the snow. I went to help with my brother. I thought of pulling it with the patpat. We immediately put people and canisters full of water on the patpat to prevent it from moving. We gave the truck its first movement, then the truck left."
