Ambulance and car collide: 7 injured

The accident occurred at around 21.30 in Kemerköprü Neighborhood. The ambulance with the registration number 74 AAJ 471, driven by Tarık Vanlı (28), who was picking up a patient from the Hacı İbrahim Paşa Girls' Dormitory, collided with the car with the registration number 74 BF 817, driven by Basra Ayaz (26), who was exiting the neighborhood road from a side street to the main road.

Upon notification, health, police and fire teams were dispatched to the area. In the accident, the drivers, ambulance attendants Emine Merve Akçay (25), Döndü Yaşar (25), the patient in the ambulance Gülpınar Demir (20) and passengers Beyzanur Kaplan (24) and Havva Öztekin (48) were slightly injured. The injured were taken to hospital by healthcare teams.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
