MEANING OF AMENERRASULU PRAYER
"The Messenger believed in what was sent down to him from his Lord, and so did the believers. Each one of them believed in Allah, His angels, His books and His messengers, and said: "We do not discriminate among His messengers." They also said: "We hear and we obey. Our Lord! We ask Your forgiveness. And to You is the final return." (Al-Baqarah: 285)
Allah does not impose on a person except what he is able to do. Whatever good he earns is for his benefit and whatever evil he earns is for his loss. (And pray saying): "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Do not impose on us a burden as You imposed on those before us. Our Lord! Do not impose on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us, have mercy on us, and You are our Protector. Help us against the people of the disbelievers." (Al-Baqarah: 286)
COMMENTARY OF AMENERRASULU PRAYER
The prayer of the Messenger of Allah is the last two verses of the Surah Al-Baqarah (2:285-286) and has great value in Islam. These verses contain powerful messages that summarize the principles of faith and express the believers' submission to Allah. When we look at its interpretation, it is emphasized in the first verse that the prophet and the believers believe in revelation. Here, it is stated that all of Allah's angels, books and prophets should be believed without making any distinction. This is an expression that emphasizes the integrity of faith in Islam. Then, it is stated that man will only be held responsible to the extent of his strength and that Allah will not impose hardship on his servants. It is an indication of Islam's understanding of justice and mercy.

In the last verse, the believers are seen praying to God for forgiveness of their sins and asking for mercy. The expressions "Pardon, forgive, have mercy" in this section reveal the servant's need for God and the need to seek refuge in His infinite mercy. Commentators have stated that these verses are great good news and assurance for believers both in this world and in the hereafter.
In fact, the Prophet Muhammad declared that whoever reads it before going to bed at night will be under the protection of Allah. Therefore, the prayer of the Messenger of Allah has a deep meaning in terms of faith, submission and seeking refuge in Allah and has an important place in the lives of Muslims.
