Devlet Bahçeli's cartoon reaction to Leman: I condemn the disgusting attack with hatred

Nationalist Movement Party's Devlet Bahçeli reacted to the cartoon published in Leman Magazine.

"I condemn with hatred the disgusting attack on our master the Messenger of Allah in a so-called humor magazine," said the MHP leader, calling for a legal action plan to be prepared in the fight against Islamophobia.

Forest fires were also on Bahçeli's agenda.

Devlet Bahçeli asked, "Isn't it treason that 81 fires started from cigarette butts and 50 from picnic fires?" and said, "I wish our nation and the local people struggling with the fires a speedy recovery. I believe that we will heal our wounds."

"A DEMOCRATIC OPPORTUNITY FOR CHP"

In his speech, Devlet Bahçeli also touched upon the annulment case filed for the 38th congress of the Republican People's Party.

Reminding that the case was postponed to September 8, Bahçeli said, "I believe that they will get rid of instability not by revolving in the orbit of the Socialist International, but by walking in the footsteps of Atatürk. It is a democratic opportunity to reach September 9, a historic day, one day after September 8, as one and all."

"PKK MUST LAY DOWN WEAPONS"

Stating that the terror-free Turkey process is the eternal guarantee of Turkey 's national existence, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli said, "A dark period must be closed so that it never opens again. An atmosphere of peace must prevail. There is no turning back from this."

Noting that Türkiye has entered a new era with this process, Bahçeli said, "The PKK must be ensured to complete its disarmament process. Utmost care must be taken against sharp provocations that will lead to new conflicts that no one can handle."

CHP'S CONGRESS CASE

The absolute nullity case heard by the CHP's 38th congress and the postponement of the hearing to September 8th have no value in our eyes. However, I believe that it would be in the best interest of Turkish democracy for the CHP to be united within itself and to achieve internal peace and balance.

CHP is now a cartel party. In other words, it has gone beyond its limits to the point of using state resources illegally for its political goals. It is also a clear candidate to be a brand of appalling lawlessness, injustice and corruption.

TERROR-FREE Türkiye PROCESS

There is no room for terrorism in the new century. It is out of the question to bear the prices paid, the suffering and pains endured again. Turkey has entered a new era. The PKK must be ensured to complete the process of laying down arms. Utmost care must be taken against sharp provocations that will lead to new conflicts that no one can handle.

In support of the February 27 Imrali statement, the PKK announced on May 12 that it had dissolved its organizational existence. The DEM Party's contacts are noteworthy. We must support our Turkey to rise, become rich and strong. The socio-cultural entity that allows us to define ourselves as the Turkish nation is the unconquerable code of living together, uniting and sharing. When we say Turkey is one heart from time to time, this is what we mean.

The claims regarding the use of nuclear weapons indicate the existence of terrible threats. There is a planned competition to ignite the fuse of a world war. Missiles, UAVs, warplanes, dead civilians, lost values, the reality of a disgraced world is before us. Against this exemplary reality, a Türkiye without terror is the eternal guarantee of our national existence.
