Muzaffer Uzun, 85, who lived in Bursa , was taken to the village of Maden in the Şavşat district of Artvin by his family to be buried after his death. Since heavy snowfall affected the village of Maden, which has an altitude of 2000 meters, and construction equipment could not enter the neighborhoods, the body was wrapped in tarpaulin and pulled with a rope to the village.

The body was delivered to the village on a difficult 3-hour journey. The images of the body being pulled by a rope drew a huge reaction on social media.

It was learned that burial ceremonies could not be carried out for 4 days due to the low population in the village during the winter months and weather conditions, and work has been started to bury the body.
