Last minute... President Erdoğan met with Serbian President Vucic

The statement made by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications said:

Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, held a telephone conversation with the President of Serbia , Aleksandar Vucic .

During the meeting, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Serbia, regional and global issues were discussed.

President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that the friendship and solidarity between the two countries had strengthened, that Turkey wished for a new government to be established in Serbia as soon as possible and for peace and stability to be maintained, and that they would continue to develop bilateral relations with the new government that would be formed.

President Erdoğan stated that the joint efforts made to increase the areas of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the defense industry, are expected to bear fruit in the near future.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan expressed his sorrow for Vucic's accident with his official car on February 8, and also conveyed his get well wishes. Serbian President Vucic also congratulated President Erdoğan on his birthday.
