Operation against 8 different criminal organizations! 63 people were caught

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the operations on his social media account X;

- In Istanbul he was the ringleader of SY and BA (2 separate organizations), - In Diyarbakır he was the ringleader of AY, - In Antalya he was the ringleader of S.Ö., - In Izmir he was the ringleader of AK, - In Balıkesir he was the ringleader of OK, - In Tekirdağ he was the ringleader of C.Ü.,

- In the operations carried out by the Gendarmerie in the last two weeks against 8 different Organized Crime Organizations led by FD in Gaziantep, 63 suspects were caught.

Of the suspects;- 48 WERE ARRESTED.

- Judicial control decisions were made for 11 of them. The procedures for the others are continuing.

I want our dear nation to know that we are determined to eradicate these criminal networks from our cities. We continue to fight against organized crime organizations that have broken their backs without stopping or hesitating.

* As a result of the work carried out by the Provincial Gendarmerie Commands under the coordination of the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor and the KOM Department of the General Command of Gendarmerie; in the operations carried out in 7 provinces, namely Istanbul (2), Diyarbakır, Antalya, İzmir, Balıkesir, Tekirdağ and Gaziantep, the suspects who were members of an organized crime organization were arrested for; - Establishing an Organization to Commit a Crime,

- Manufacturing and Trafficking of Narcotics ,

- Violation of Law No. 6136, - Attempted deliberate murder and deliberate wounding, - Immigrant smuggling, - Aggravated robbery, - Aggravated fraud, - Armed threat, - Attempting to enable the escape of a convict, detainee or detainee, - Endangering public security, - Bribery, - Damage to property,

- Our Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation against them for the crime of Assuming a Crime.

As a result of the operations; - 9 unlicensed guns, - 392 kg of cannabis powder, narcotics and their use devices, - 5 checks/promissory notes worth 28 million TL

- A large number of mobile phones, memory sticks, documents and cutting/piercing tools were seized.

I congratulate our Governors, our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices who coordinated the operations, and our Heroic Gendarmerie who carried out the operations.
