Easy sinking

According to the masters, the reason why slaves rebel is definitely that they sink easily. Why would a person rise up for no reason? They are not wrong, as long as they do not sink easily, people have not been seen to get up or change their positions. Sinking easily is like ingrown hairs; the sinking comfort must be removed from the body. The discomfort of slaves can only be eliminated by decrees having the force of law and police operations. The aim of the operations is to dull the body's ability to sense, because sinking easily is related to perceptions. There is a kind of restlessness and discomfort in the being that senses. Even when it is still, something is swarming inside it, "small perceptions and small appetites that nudge small fluid perceptions - fluid perceptions and small fluid appetites never stop twitching" (Deleuze, Five Lessons on Leibniz, Kabbalist). If you are a living being, sinking easily is a healthy thing, it shows that your perceptions are open to the world. But from the master's perspective, excessive sensing is an undesirable characteristic. The ideal slave should be perceptive only to his master and obey his commands without question. The master's only desire is to create hordes of golems. In Jewish mythology, a golem is a creature that a rabbi made from clay and brought to life by chanting a magic spell, and that obeys his master's commands. The Talmud says that Adam was a golem before he was given a soul.

If you believe that you are descended from Adam and live a capitalist life, I would like to remind you. Today, those who breathe souls into the sons of Adam are the despots and oligarchs who hold the capital in their hands and control the flow of capital. The main purpose of the Golem is to protect its creator. God may have breathed soul into Adam, who was created as a Golem. But times have changed, and God has long been replaced by his representatives. Just as reality has been replaced by his images over time. If your ability to sense is dull, you may accept the images produced as reality and think that you are fighting for the truth; you may even risk your life for the truth. However, the truth of a post-truth era is the images produced by those who claim to represent the truth. And when images veil reality, the sons of Adam may think that they are fighting for their creators, whereas in fact they are the despots and oligarchs for whom they sacrificed their lives. Only those who are comfortably sunken can realize this.

When it sinks comfortably, our first reaction may be to lean over a little. Isn’t that right? You can put a mattress under you. Or you can change where you sit. Sinking comfortably is something that is not like ingrown hairs, you can never relieve your discomfort. It lifts you up from your seat, makes you stand up and you can never sit down again. Of course, what sinks is not comfortable, it is the earth, the reality that is constantly swarming. Man is not a golem made of mud, he has evolved thanks to his perceptions. And as long as he perceives, he will maintain his connection with the reality of the ever-changing earth. Perceiving nullifies the nomos, or laws, of the despots and re-establishes you in nature. As the Sophist Alcidamas, who lived in the 4th century BC, said, “Nature has never enslaved anyone.” It is the laws that enslave people. For a person to become a slave, it is enough for their perceptions to weaken and for them to be deceived by the images produced by despots. But reality never stops swarming and the dulled perceptions eventually become sharp again and they begin to sink comfortably. Being open to the world means being alert, it requires being on your feet and constantly changing your position. The masters are right, uprisings can only happen when you are comfortably submerged.

When you sink comfortably, the noise of the city is no longer enough to drown out the sounds of things swarming around. You begin to distinguish individual sounds in the noise. Crowds live in the previously imperceptible dark region. The sounds of the demolition machines are mixed with the cries of people, animals, and trees; it is unbearable, you become sad. But suddenly, the breathing of the soil, the sprouting of plants, the sounds of insects, birds, and the sea become audible. As the sounds are connected by counterpoints, a joyful song rises on the earth. The spirit of the earth has taken over your body, you become powerful, your insides cannot contain you. It is June, you rise up.
