Healthcare workers were beaten at Hamidiye Etfal Hospital!
Dr. Ayşenur Kundak, who was on duty in the gynecology and obstetrics emergency room at Sarıyer Hamidiye Eftal Training and Research Hospital, along with nurses and hospital staff, were beaten by a patient and a patient's relative.
At Sarıyer Hamidiye Eftal Training and Research Hospital, Dr. Ayşenur Kundak told a patient who requested medication without registering. She explained that if the situation was urgent, the patient should register and come for an examination. She then asked the patient to leave the room unless the situation was urgent. The patient and her relatives, who refused to leave the room, assaulted Dr. Ayşenur Kundak and the healthcare workers. Dr. Ayşenur and the injured healthcare workers were taken to treatment.

"Dr. Ayşenur Kundak, who was on duty at Sarıyer Hamidiye Eftal Training and Research Hospital's Gynecology and Obstetrics Emergency Department, along with nurses and hospital staff, were assaulted by a patient and their relative. We extend our best wishes to our colleague and healthcare workers injured in the attack. We will be following this tragic incident closely and will not give up our fight until violence in healthcare ends," the statement read.
