Trump-Putin summit canceled

The White House announced that a summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin is not expected in the near future.
A White House official made a written statement to an Anadolu Agency reporter regarding the Trump-Putin summit expected to be held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, in two weeks.
"Secretary of State (Marco) Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister (Sergey) Lavrov had a productive meeting. No additional face-to-face meetings between the two ministers will be necessary, and President Trump is not scheduled to meet with President Putin in the near future," the US official said.
