Farewell to actor Emre Törün: His wife burst into tears

Theatre, cinema and TV actor Emre Törün, who last starred in the TV series Hudutsuz Sevda, succumbed to cancer on July 16, after a long battle with it.

The death of Törün, who gave successful performances in many productions such as "Back Streets", "Three Sisters", "Once Upon a Time in Cyprus" and "Bandits Do Not Rule the World", caused great sorrow among his family, the art community and his fans.

Memorial ceremony in Üsküdar

A memorial service for Emre Törün is being held today at the Müsahipzade Celal Stage in Üsküdar. Before the ceremony, the actor's wife, Nurkan Törün, and his mother were overcome with tears. Close friends and loved ones tried to comfort the grieving family.

ARTIST FRIENDS DID NOT LEAVE HIM ALONE

The famous actor will be laid to rest at the Karacaahmet Cemetery in Üsküdar. According to 2nd Page, actors Erkan Bektaş and Müjde Uzman attended the ceremony, joining their colleagues. Müjde Uzman experienced an emotional moment at the ceremony.

WHO IS EMRE TÖRÜN?

Born in Istanbul in 1972, Emre Törün graduated from the Theater Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory. Törün began his acting career in 1996 with the TV series "Kara Melek" (Black Angel), in which he starred for four seasons.

He later appeared in many TV series, including Arka Sokaklar, Bir Zamanlar Kıbrıs, Üç Kız Kardeş, and Mahsusa: Tripoli. He reached a wide fan base with the character "Nevzat Çankırılı" he portrayed in the TV series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz between 2015 and 2017.

Törün, who most recently played the character of "Şeref" in the TV series Hudutsuz Sevda, also took part in theater stages for many years and took part in many projects as a voice actor.
