His former co-star also received the same punishment.
Immediately following Watson's case, the court also considered the speeding violation of actress Zoe Wanamaker, who played Quidditch referee Madam Hooch in the first film of the series.
Wanamaker was caught speeding at 46 mph on a 40 mph road in Berkshire last August. The court gave him the same sentence as Watson.
Both players had nine penalty points on their licences before the suspension. By law, three more points are added to each with the latest offences, and exceeding 12 points carries an automatic six-month driving ban.
CNN attempted to reach Emma Watson's representatives for comment; Wanamaker's representatives declined to comment.
Watson and Wanamaker, whose paths once crossed in the Harry Potter universe, now coincidentally shared the same fate in the courtroom.
After achieving international fame as Hermione Granger in the series, Watson has worked in academia, film, and women's rights, starring in Beauty and the Beast and Greta Gerwig's Little Women.
