Merve Taşkın, who is under house arrest, was asked to be sentenced to 5 years and 3 months in prison.

In the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that a report was made about Merve Taşkın to the Istanbul Police Department Public Security Branch Directorate Morality Bureau, and that in the examination conducted on the suspect's X (Twitter) account, it was determined that she shared obscene images of herself and produced pornographic content on the site called 'Onlyfans', which is banned in Turkey, and sold these contents for money.
"I DID NOT THINK IT CONSTITUTED A CRIME"
It was recorded that Merve Taşkın, whose statement was included in the indictment, stated that the page in question belonged to her, that she made the post regarding February 14, that she made this post for the purpose of interaction, that she did not think that the photos on the same account constituted a crime, that the photos shared from the @onlyfansturk11 account on the X account belonged to her, that these photos were photos she sent to the people she was talking to at the time, that she did not know the person or people who shared them or the account owner on whom the post was made, and that she did not share these images.
HE DID NOT ACCEPT THE ACCUSATION
In his statement, he stated that he was the person in the images on the website in the file, that these images were messages he sent as private messages, that he did not remember to whom he sent them and that he had heard of the site in question for the first time, and did not accept the accusation against him.
UP TO 5 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS PRISON WAS REQUESTED
Although Merve Taşkın stated that she did not share the images, the prosecutor's office evaluated the police investigation report and the entire file together and noted that there was sufficient evidence to file a public lawsuit against the suspect for committing the crime attributed to her by publishing the obscene images and words through the press, and that the incident needed to be tried. The indictment requested a prison sentence of 7 months and 15 days to 5 years and 3 months for Merve Taşkın for the crime of "serial obscenity".
