Fire in maquis area in Turgutlu: 2 houses damaged
The fire, which started in the Çepnidere Neighborhood in the evening hours, spread to the border of the Kemalpaşa district of İzmir due to the effect of the wind. In a statement made by the Manisa Governorship, it was stated that the fire was quickly intervened with 2 aircraft, 5 water trucks, 10 fire teams, 3 first response vehicles, 7 intervention vehicles, 20 water tankers and 10 construction equipment.
It was reported that the fire was brought under control and cooling efforts were continuing in the area.
In the governor's statement, it was shared that there was no loss of life in the fire, according to initial findings, 2 houses were damaged and 3 people affected by the smoke were not in mortal danger.
