Postcard images! Waterfalls froze

The freezing cold weather in Amasya has turned nature into an icy painting. With temperatures dropping to -7 degrees at night, the Su Atan and Kaleköy waterfalls, 15 kilometers from the city center, have frozen.

Giant icicles measuring 4-5 meters in length were formed as the water flowing from the rock surfaces of the waterfalls turned into ice blocks. Visitors to the region captured the postcard-like scenery with their mobile phones, immortalizing this unique natural event.
