The Istanbul Governorship has banned demonstrations and demonstrations in four districts.

The Istanbul Governor's Office announced that all public gatherings, demonstrations, sit-ins, and commemoration ceremonies in Beyoğlu , Bayrampaşa , Kağıthane, and Şişli will be banned for one day as of 00:01 today.
The Governor's Office said in a statement, " Virtual patrols conducted by the relevant units of our Provincial Police Department continue uninterrupted. In light of the information obtained in this context, it has been determined that various groups are preparing for illegal gatherings, marches, protests, and similar actions in some areas."
The statement stated that the actions in question were assessed as having the potential to disrupt the peace and welfare of society and lead to provocative initiatives, and the following was noted:
"In this context, in accordance with the responsibilities arising from the subparagraphs (a), (b) and (c) of Article 11 of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442 and Articles 17 and 19 of the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911, open-air meetings, demonstration marches, setting up tents, opening stands, sit-ins, signature campaigns, commemoration ceremonies, distributing flyers, hanging banners and posters and similar actions in the Beyoğlu, Bayrampaşa, Kağıthane and Şişli districts are banned for 1 day from 00.01 to 23.59 on October 26."
