Thermometers in Ankara hit minus 7 degrees Celsius, Kugulu Park's pool froze
Cold weather took hold in Ankara throughout the night. Thermometers in the higher parts of the city hit minus 7 degrees, while pools in iconic locations froze.
The pool at Kuğulu Park , one of Ankara's iconic places, froze. The pool at Abdi İpekçi Park in Sıhhiye also froze, and the cold continued throughout the night. According to weather forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the cold weather will continue to affect the capital for a few more days.
