'Thank You': Tel Aviv to welcome Donald Trump with giant banner; video shows massive sign with his face

A massive “Thank You” and "Home" sign has been put up on the beach in Tel Aviv, positioned directly along the flight path of Air Force One as it approaches Ben Gurion Airport in Israel ahead of Donald Trump's visit. The gesture comes as the US president is scheduled to arrive in Israel to mark the start of a US-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The banner had a photo of President Trump with words "Thank you" and "Home" written. Trump is scheduled to land early Monday in Tel Aviv for a brief four-hour visit, during which he will meet the families of hostages freed from Gaza, hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and address lawmakers at the Knesset.The visit coincides with the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks, observed on the Hebrew calendar as Simchat Torah begins Monday evening. The day carries both grief and hope as Israelis prepare to welcome home the final 20 living hostages while mourning those who did not survive.According to Hebrew media reports cited by the Times of Israel, seven hostages have already been handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross, sparking celebrations in Tel Aviv’s Hostages Square.Following his visit, Trump is expected to travel to Egypt to co-host a regional peace summit with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, joined by more than 20 world leaders to discuss postwar recovery and peace efforts in the Middle East.
