Andy Byron's firm slams 'fake statement' after CEO caught on awkward Coldplay 'kiss cam'

Tech tycoon Andy Byron has denied that he wrote a statement addressing an awkward kiss-cam moment with someone who wasn't his wife at a Coldplay concert. The CEO of software company Astronomer was seemingly caught red-handed in a clinch with coworker Kristin Cabot on the Jumbotron at the band's show in Boston on Wednesday night.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin inadvertently exposed the pair after they were caught mid-embrace, before quickly drawing apart and trying to hide from the camera. "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy," he joked to the crowd in a clip that quicklyt went viral after being shared on TikTok.
A statement emerged the following day, seemingly from Byron apologising for the incident and the "disappointment it has caused", but in a fresh twist, the CEO's firm has slammed it as "fake".
