How Natalia Bryant Honored Kobe Bryant at College Graduation

How Natalia Bryant Honored Kobe Bryant at College Graduation
Natalia Bryant Shares How Mamba Mentality Motivates Her

Kobe Bryant's eldest daughter Natalia Bryant kept her dad close to her heart as she scored an academic slam dunk.

While graduating cum laude from the University of Southern California (USC) May 16, the 22-year-old included her late father's trademarked "Sheath" logo on her cardinal red and gold stole.

The symbol, made up of three sets of mirrored quadrilateral trapezoids, was placed on the left side of the cloth above the words "School of Cinematic Arts," "USC" and the Trojans' rally cry, "Fight On!"

Both Natalia—whose stole also contained her sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma's letters and the words "Class of 2025" and "Cum Laude" on the right side—and her mom shared pics on Instagram.

"4 ever," Vanessa Bryant captioned a closeup of the stole, adding emojis of heart hands, a red heart, a crown and a snake.

Natalia, the first in her family to go to college, received a slew of congratulatory messages from celebs such as Michael B. Jordan, Jennifer Garner, Storm Reid and Ciara.

"Gooo Nani Boo!" the singer wrote in the comments section of the teen's post. "So incredibly proud of you!!"

On Vanessa's post, Natalie received kudos from Jessica Alba, Cat Gasol—wife of Kobe's former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Pau Gasol—and Tina Knowles.

"I am beyond proud of you beautiful @nataliabryant," Beyoncé's mom wrote in the comments, adding, "Vanessa I saw the love that you poured into your daughter. You did a great Job."

"In terms of legacy," Natalia—also sister to Bianka Bryant, 8, and Capri Bryant, 5—told Town & Country in an interview published in January 2024, "my main goal is just to be the best version of me that I possibly can."

The now-college grad explained that this means "understanding that there's no expectation that I should have for each stage of life."

"I just need to know that I have to keep learning, because there's no finish line," she said. "You just have to keep pushing and being the best person you can be and soaking everything up like a sponge"

Natalia has shared insight into how she pushes herself out of her comfort zone. "I'm always scared to take risks," she exclusively told E! News the following month. "You have to pull the confidence together and bring it out in you. I think having a great team and support system has been the biggest thing."

Speaking of which, look back at the Bryant family album.
