Jordan Chiles Proved That Body Glitter Is the Accessory of the Summer
Who needs jewelry layering when body glitter can give you the right amount of sparkle? Just ask Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, who showed up at the ESPY awards on July 16th in Hollywood, California, proving just that. For the event, Chiles opted for a structured pale pink dress by designer Cong Tri, which she paired with classic, “So Kate” Christian Louboutin heels.
For the accessories, she kept it simple with ear studs and a few rings, choosing not to wear a necklace despite the plunging neckline of her dress. Instead, she opted for body glitter all over her chest and arms. Chiles is not one to shy away from a shiny accessory, of course – she has a gold medal that she won in 2024 at the Paris Olympics with her team after all – but this most recent appearance is an example of how you can do something bold and subtle with your sparkle all at the same time.

While we don't know if she's planning on trying for the next Olympics, what we do know is that she's accomplished so much already and has so much ahead of her. "It's just the beginning of my life story," she told Teen Vogue last year for our cover story. “I have so much life to live. I know what my passion and my worth are on this earth and I will continue to do everything I need to fulfill every dream I have.”
If you're new to body glitter, but are inspired by Jordan Chiles' latest look, here are a few options to ease you into the trend.
