Labour Minister torn apart by furious GB News star over Farage remark with just 3 words

Cristo Foufas has slammed Peter Kyle after the shocking remarks he made about Nigel Farage. Speaking to Wilfred Frost on Sky News, the Labour minister said the Reform UK leader's opposition to the Online Safety Act means he is “on the side of turning the clock back to when strange adults can get in touch via messaging apps with children.” Mr Kyle said: “If people like Jimmy Saville were alive today, he would be perpetrating his crimes online. And Nigel Farage is saying that he’s on their side, not the side of the children."
GB News presenter Patrick Christys probed Foufas on his feelings towards the comments, and he didn't hold back. "I am angry about this because firstly, I think it's so thick. It's so stupid. How does this man dress himself in the morning? Is he toilet trained? Because he is clearly so stupid," Foufas raged.
He later said: "Our elected officials should be setting an example about the level of discourse that we have and I am so sick to death of far-right, racist or paedophile being banded around."
Foufas pointed out that these terms are often used on platforms like X, formerly Twitter, before adding: "But this is an actual elected MP."
During the Sky News exchange between Mr Kyle and Frost, the baffled presenter queried: “I am going to ask you to clarify, do you honestly think Nigel Farage is on Jimmy Savile’s side?”
Defending his comments, the Technology Minister continued: “When it comes to online activity, we have seen unfettered access of adults to children via social media.
“When we put in the age verification, it stops. It’s strange adults getting in touch with children."
Mr Frost hit back: “This is a major leap. You’re going to stick to the fact that you said that Nigel Farage is on Jimmy Savile’s side.”
The Labour MP stood by his remarks, claiming: “Nigel Farage is on the side of turning the clock back to the time when strange adults can get in touch via messaging apps with children.
“We have now asked them to verify the age in which people can have access to online content so we can protect children from unwanted, dangerous content and also those messaging services where people can get access directly to it.
"Nigel Farage wants to turn the clock right back on all of that."
The Reform UK leader hit back at the claim, posting on X: "Peter Kyle's comments on Sky News are disgusting. He should do the right thing and apologise."
