Taylor Swift's Secret to Voluminous Hair Is Under $80
Taylor Swift has just announced a new Eras tour docuseries and film coming to Disney+, and while the trailer teases plenty of never-before-seen moments, both on and off the stage, the attention has slightly shifted from music to beauty.
Towards the end of the teaser trailer, we see Taylor Swift unwinding after a concert and get a peek at her six-item shower routine, which features some affordable gems and some items that are as luxe as it gets.

Though it's only a peek and we can't really read the labels, the routine seems to appear in order of use. The first bottle we see is a bottle of Dr. Barbara Sturm's cosmetics, a celeb-favorite brand. While it could be a facial scrub, we have a feeling it's the brand's cleansing cream, seeing as we see the star taking off her makeup with a pad as she prepares to go in the bath, where she'll likely follow up with this product, which retails for a whopping $100.
Swift seems to be a double cleanse aficionado, because the next bottle appears to be a cleanser by Vermont-based brand Tata Harper. All of the brand's products come in similar packages, so it could really be the Clarifying Pore & Oil Control Cleanser with BHA & AHA for Redness or the Superkind Foaming Softening Cleanser for Barrier Support, which would be the best for everyday use, or the Regenerating BHA Exfoliating Cleanser.
After the makeup is removed, we enter the more interesting territory: shampoo and conditioner. While a lot of high-end shampoos can go into the hundreds, Swift's combo comes in at just under $80 and appears to be her best-kept secret to voluminous hair.
Judging from the photos, she uses Christophe Robin's Delicate Volumizing Conditioner, which features rosehip oil and baobab extract. According to the brand's website, the combo is “designed to give fine, flat, or thin hair an instant volume boost" while also detangling, softening, and enhancing fullness.
Moving on to the body, it looks like Swift favors an OUAI body wash. Judging from the color of the bottle, it might be the St. Barts Gentle Body Wash, which is made with rosehip oil, jojoba oil, and vitamins A and C.
Then there's the most affordable piece of beauty equipment in Swift's shower routine: a Venus razor. Her choice seems to be disposable ones for sensitive skin, which makes sense given that she filmed this on the road. We are not sure what part of the body she uses these on; it could be just for touchups or for her superstar legs, but we do notice the lack of shaving cream. While Venus razors have a lubricant strip for glide, larger areas would likely require more than just adding water, so we just have to take it at face value.
Maybe we'll get all the answers we need when the docuseries actually comes out. Until then, you can check out the trailer and get a peek at the routine for yourself below:
