TRIC Award nominations in full as major shows snubbed
It’s almost time for the 2025 TRIC Awards, where the best and brightest in television and radio come together to recognise another year of achievements. The Television and Radio Industries Club Awards are set to take place on June 24th, starting at 3pm – and a whole host of programmes are eligible for the win.
There was a huge blow for several household names, however, as they were snubbed from the nominations list entirely. BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing missed out entirely on a spot in the Entertainment category, while daytime show Loose Women also missed out on a nod amid budget cuts raging on at ITV.
BBC Breakfast was also snubbed from the News category, while GB News Breakfast and Good Morning Britain were both nominated. It’s sure to be a tense ceremony awaiting the victors – Express.co.uk has the nominations list in full.
