At least two dead in bridge collapse in South Korea

At least two people died on Tuesday when a bridge collapsed in South Korea. Seven other people were injured in the accident at a highway construction site, according to authorities. The fire department announced that six people were seriously injured and one was slightly injured. According to the Interior Ministry, the injured were taken to hospital. According to the fire department, rescue workers were still searching for one person buried.
The accident occurred in Anseong, about 65 kilometers south of the capital Seoul. South Korean media released dramatic images showing part of the bridge collapsing and a large cloud of smoke rising. South Korea's interim president Choi Sang Mok instructed rescue workers to mobilize all available resources and forces for the rescue operation.
