WhatsApp keeps the No Angels together – even across continents.

The No Angels do what many groups of friends and families do: The singers manage their daily lives via a shared chat group. In this exclusive circle, which really only includes band members Lucy Diakovska, Jessica Wahls, Sandy Mölling, and Nadja Benaissa, both private and professional matters are discussed, as they revealed to the German Press Agency.
“This group is one of the most important things for us,” Lucy told the German Press Agency (dpa). “We use it to talk about personal things, but also about work. About time spent in the studio or promotional appearances. We organize our daily band life through it, and it keeps us together,” she said. This is quite different from the beginning of the band's history 25 years ago. “When we first met, there was no WhatsApp,” Lucy recalled. “But we didn't need a WhatsApp group back then because we saw each other all the time anyway. We were a living, breathing WhatsApp group.”
The current chat group is said to have been created in 2020 – even before the decision had been made that the No Angels would attempt a comeback. The pop band had been on hiatus from 2014 to 2021.
Singer Jessica said the WhatsApp group was particularly important at the beginning to connect the band members, who lived "scattered across half the world." "Lucy in Bulgaria, Sandy in Los Angeles. It wasn't so easy to connect."

In 2021, the No Angels returned to the nation's stages to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Now, the girl group from the 2000s has released a new song. An album is expected to follow.
And what's happening in the group these days? Jessica revealed that she "always likes to send in a TikTok video to make the others laugh." Lucy, on the other hand, often sends photos because she's "just met someone." "Sometimes we also send each other photos of an outfit and think about whether it could be something for the stage," the singer said.
However, it's not so easy for the band members to keep track of everything. Besides the main band chat group, there are many others with more people in different configurations – for example, a group with management or with the social media team.
"You really have to keep track of everything," said Jessica. With a laugh, she added, "Lucy is the one who most often posts in the wrong group and has to be called back by us."
The No Angels emerged from the casting show "Popstars" in 2000. With "Daylight in Your Eyes" they immediately landed their first big hit and became arguably the most successful female band in Germany.
The No Angels recently released their new song "I Still Believe." The song is the anthem for this year's RTL Telethon on November 20th, which raises money for children in need. A Christmas album by the No Angels is also expected to be released soon.
